Self

Lately I am thinking and feeling about self.

What is something that is unique to myself and to people around me. Everyone has their strengths and weakness that is part of their character. All of us in this world is unique in their own self and being. We may share the "same" experience but we might view it "differently" based on our values, our up bringing etc. . All views are valid ones and everyone is unique.

There are views we can resonate with vs. others we don't seem to make sense of too. We can accept the others person's view but we don't have to take it in as part of our experience. It's simply a choice. I just got an image in my mind of a stone that is being thrown into a pond, ripples occur during those times. These ripples are gradually spreading out. That made me think about the intention of the person who throw the stone, was it a positive or negative intent? How will be ripple be perceived by the other person? The person throwing the stone might not have any bad intentions but it might be received as criticism. A open and honest conversation will become necessary to fully understand what is going on beyond the surface of that ripple.

Sometimes a conversation don't reveal the true intent a person might have, you can discover and dig deeper but it might still not make any sense to you. I lately got to know there is a limit of understanding and acceptance and if the view is hurting and not productive then it's also okay to let go and distance yourself from that view.

I believe that its really important to carefully choose the vibrations of people we are surrounding ourselves with. Is the experience uplifting, challenging, learning something new from someone else view point? Or is the experience depleting your energy, you feel like you are being criticized then it's also okay to let go. Taking care of self is most important and everyone has a different understanding on what needs to be included in that self care. So choosing what kind of environment you are in can make a big difference in your being.

Lately I had a chance to go on a business trip to Vietnam and India and the energy of these places where amazing, so different from Japan. The people I felt were so energetic and vibrant in their being, especially India is such a diverse place. I felt strongly people's different views of life which is shown through their energy and being. It was beautiful to witness and really embracing oneself in these surroundings too.

Really honestly look at your self and only you can decide what is good for you and whom and how you spent your time. Life is beautiful and there is always more to come, you can create your experiences. It's okay to let go of views that are not matching yours and connect with people who are supportive and uplifting for you to embrace yourself more. I am grateful for those uplifting vibrations that are in my life that I can always count on, first myself, my family and close friends who are unconditionally love me.

Let your shine don't be diminished but shine brightly and let yourself guide the way through life.

With love & light, Sabine
