Slowing down

There are only few days left in the year 2025.

How was it for you? Did you spent in a way that made you feel happy and content? What were some of the learnings that you had?

The time off during the years is a perfect time to reflect on the year I believe. During these reflections remember to be kind of yourself and celebrate your achievements and successes, big and small ones.

Reflection can be also about learnings, what would you like to take with you into 2026 and what would you like to leave behind.

Learnings are good to show your growth in your personal development. We can always learn from our experience, but don’t be too much of a critic of your own life. As humans we make mistakes or have experiences that were not the best ones, but we can decide what to do about them.

We can take the essence of our mistakes to avoid repeating them and then just move on. There is no need into unnecessarily beating yourself up and carry them with you. The lesson is learnt, time to move on and create new experiences. So let’s go..

Focus on the here and now and don’t get dwelled into something that you cannot influence. We can influence and choose how we want to feel; we cannot influence how others may feel.

Personally, I think it’s also a good timing to share your gratitude towards your life and/or to others too.

I am sure there are so many experiences you are grateful for within 2025, remind yourself of those. You can write those down and then create more memorable moments in 2026.

I hope you can slow down and refresh your mind, body and soul. Use the time to prepare yourself for another awesome year ahead of you.

Wishing you a wonderful holiday season and the best start into 2026.

With love & light,

Sabine
